Inshore July 25th

July 26th, 2010

Despite the warm temperature, the fishing was pretty good yesterday.  We caught a few nice trout and couple of smaller slot reds, plenty enough for dinner tonight.  Here’s some shots of Peter Wright Jr., Joe Cope, Katherine McMillan, Jeb Tatum, and Leslie Tatum out on the trip.

  1. Skays says:

Any idea when all of the grass in the water is going to go away. All of my favorite fishing spots for reds and trout are inundated with grass. Not even a weedless jig survives without being choked with grass.

  2. Most of the grass you see floating on the grass flats is dead, new grass is growing. That type of grass likes the warm clean water. The June grass, seaweed looking stuff, will be flushed out in the next week or so.
